State and federal law requires HHS agencies to post files on the web that are accessible for people with disabilities. All documents (Word, PDF, PowerPoint, etc.) must be created with accessibility in mind.

Online Training on Accessible Documents
MS Office 2013 & 2016 Training is available from the Governor's website. Learn how to create accessible documents using Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. The full training series Creating Accessible Microsoft Office 2013 & 2016 Documents includes 19 modules with videos, audio recordings, and text-based training (in Word and PDF formats).
This training was developed through a partnership of staff from over 15 Texas state agencies including all HHS agencies.
