Accessibility Committee of Texas
The committee serves as an interagency workgroup to promote the ongoing improvement of the methods by which state agencies and institutions of higher education make EIR accessible to all state employees and the public. They are a resource regarding the development, dissemination and implementation of accessibility policies, procedures, and initiatives and work closely with the Governor's Committee on People with Disabilities to advance state government EIR accessibility needs.
Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of every month, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, 1100 West 45th Street, Austin, TX, Building 605. You may also participate in the meetings by phone. To join the listserv, simply email your request to AccessChats@tamuc.edu or Lydia.Harkey@tamuc.edu.
